Town of Two Hills Awards EV Charging & Solar Energy Project to EVLution Charge Inc.

Two Hills, Alberta – April 03, 2025 – The Town of Two Hills is thrilled to share some exciting news: EVLution Charge Inc. has been chosen to bring a state-of-the-art solar farm and electric vehicle (EV) charging station to life at the Two Hills Arena. This project is a big leap toward a greener, more sustainable future for our corner of Alberta, and we couldn’t be more proud to make it happen.
After a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) process, we landed on EVLution Charge Inc. to design and build this innovative setup, blending solar power with EV charging. It’s all part of our mission to keep Two Hills thriving with smart, eco-friendly solutions that meet the needs of today while looking ahead to tomorrow.
Mayor Leonard Ewanishan is excited, saying, “Here in Two Hills, we’re all about finding ways to make life better for our residents and the folks who pass through. Teaming up with EVLution Charge Inc. feels like the perfect fit—we’re adding clean energy to our town and making it easier for people to switch to electric vehicles. It’s a win for everyone.”
This new solar-powered EV charging station isn’t just about cutting carbon emissions (though it’ll do that too!). It’s about saving on energy costs with solar generation, giving EV drivers a reliable spot to power up, and showing our community’s commitment to a cleaner planet. Construction is set to kick off in June 2025, and we’re aiming to have everything up and running by March 2026—plenty of time to enjoy it next spring!
