Geleta Park has been transformed for recreational use. In 2009, washrooms and coin-operated showers were added. Geleta Park is available for public use during the summer months. The park features a playground, outdoor exercise equipment, tennis courts, a beach volleyball net, basketball courts, soccer fields, a variety of campsites, and brand new baseball diamonds.
